Digital impressions
The new trend in dentistry is digitalisation, which means diagnosis and treatment can be carried out with greater precision thanks to technology. X-rays, for example, are now taken digitally, and radiation exposure has been reduced by 90%.
In addition, digital impressions have eliminated errors and reduced patient discomfort.
Digital impressions offer patients greater comfort, with the following benefits:
- A quick, simple and comfortable experience;
- Precision – every micro-detail of the area being restored (teeth, implants, gums) is recorded down to the micron;
- Accuracy and improved clinical results.
At the Dr. Leuștean BeautyDentExpert clinic we have introduced digital impressions, a non-invasive procedure that uses a small intraoral scanner.
Innovations in cosmetic dentistry!
Today, cosmetic dentistry is a very broad field, which means every area of dentistry can be approached from an aesthetic point of view.
The dental scanner is part of the CAD-CAM system, which allows computers to avoid human error.
The CAD-CAM system is made up of 3 components:
- Scanner: converts the images captured inside the mouth into data to be processed by the computer.
- Specialised software: processes the data and helps design the restorations, giving the user freedom to work with the data according to the area being restored.
- Production (milling) unit: turns the processed data into the finished product by milling a block of material (zirconia); milling can be done using a wet or dry process.

In just two appointments at our Dr. Leuștean BeautyDentExpert clinic, you too can have a magazine-worthy smile, and say goodbye to unsightly gaps, discolouration, erosion or malocclusion.
